Over the moon, I was really blown away. A couple of weeks ago, I finally received the email that I was chosen as one of the International authors in the publication Anthology book, The Power of Why 21 Musicians Created a Program. The chapter submission comes from all over the world and selected by a renowned International Best Author, Glory St Germain. This is my first time I appear in International Book at Amazon. So exciting! Hence, I found that my passion for writing is out of my mind. I would like to continue writing till the end of my musical journey. Hopefully, this will be an inspirational and blessings to the readers. Here is some highlight of my chapter.
During the recent pandemic, people encountered a lot of stress, losing hope and not being as productive as normally they might do. I was also ready to give in during my final semester because I was frustrated with online lessons. But I was able to overcome this. I told myself that I had to survive. For the longest time, I had toyed with idea of establishing my own music school, and during this, I was able to put a plan into action. This was not because I need a job, but, rather, I felt I had to achieve something else and accomplish my mission to open a music school. And came “Panda Piano Course”. The Panda idea itself came when I successfully achieved my dreams in the city of the Giant panda; Chengdu is well known as the home of the Panda. This was going to be my mission: to educate and inspire students until they achieve their own success in music. I wanted to provide the best online piano lessons and masterclasses with international experts. As a result, we started to engage students from over the globe. My aim was for every student around the world who desired to pursue their goals and needs in music would be able to do so at affordable prices. I am grateful that I have experts who come from all corners of the globe. Our quote “Abundant in Harmony”, the black and white keys of the piano represent the colours of the Panda and I hope we will create millions of beautiful melodies in perfect harmony. I want to share everything that I have, I return the good deeds that others have done for me. People inspire me, supporting, helping, loving and caring each other!
I hope the journey will never end. More recently I won a composition competition composing a march for Indonesian overseas students in Alliance. I never imagined that I would become a composer, especially in the Indonesian music overseas student community. This song will be the theme song for the opening ceremony in every particular meeting, and it will be sung after National Anthem and will be premiered this July in the World Symposium. My belief is, the reason why I have to write music is truly inspired by Beethoven's music! He is my greatest inspiration. I really hope that I could contribute more to composition, and everyone, one day, will hear this music. Never ever stop learning, fight for your dreams, and surrender everything you have – it is this that ultimately makes us who we are and how we influence those around us.
